There are a number of ways in which you can contact your child's class teacher:
This is the school's preferred method of communication
Teaching Staff can be contacted directly via email:
first initial and firstname.lastname@example.org
e.g. Mrs Bartram-Hill would be email@example.com
All other email communication should go through the school office:
Face to face
This ideally should be done through a mutually agreed appointment time, especially if you feel that you will require a certain amount of time.
Quick messages can be exchanged with the class teacher at the end of the day as the children are released.
It is not possible to talk with teachers in the morning (unless via appointment) as they are either getting ready for lessons or teaching children.
The school office is open from 8:30am-2:15pm Monday-Friday. If you call and have to leave a voicemail, please state your name, your child's name and the class teacher you wish to speak to so that we can convey the message in a timely manner.
Messages via letter/book bags/reading record
You can send written communication in via the child's book bags. However, our experience is that this method is not reliable: children forget to take the letter out or lose the letter.
